Expert Installations carried a series of trial installations of the new Denman Retail Media Screen Talker in 20 Marks and Spencer stores nationwide during spring 2009.

Each Screen Talker caries a video message selling the features and benefits of Pea Shoots and is situated within the bagged salad chiller. With assistance from store staff our installers had to empty the chillers and transfer the product into an alternative chiller whilst the installation took place. The chiller unit is then powered down and the shelving stripped out to enable routing of the low voltage power supply through the rear of the chiller. The transformer then needs to be connected to the power supply behind the chiller prior to powering up and re-merchandising. As the Screen Talker is installed within the chiller food safety is treated with paramount importance.

Marks and Spencer and Vitacress have reported a considerable sales uplift in the trial sites and we have recently been advised that we will be installing a further 700 units in the winter of 2009.
